Users benefit from greater security from phishing and fake SSL sites.

ContentKeeper Technologies, the leader in scalable Internet filtering and security solutions, today revealed enhancements to its SSL filtering mechanism that will allow organizations to check the validity and security of SSL sites without compromising the confidentiality of SSL transactions. It will also allow organizations to enforce SSL certificate usage policies at the network level to protect against phishing scams and malicious and illegitimate SSL sites.

Enhancements to the engine include the ability to identify the authority and validity of a certificate without exposing vital information such as passwords and other authentication details contained within SSL transactions.

The enhanced technology will be available in the next public release of ContentKeeper Web.
