ContentKeeper Signs with Packet Technologies

Wednesday, 2 Jun 2010

ContentKeeper has recently signed a partnership with Packet Technologies (Pactec) in New Zealand to further establish a market presence in the region and distribute Internet filtering and security to New Zealand enterprise customers.

You can read some news about the deal in this month's edition of NZ Reseller News.

The team-up coincides with ContentKeeper’s recent technology collaboration with Exinda to provide a combined Internet filtering, network visibility and bandwidth management solution. Pactec is a long-time distributor of Exinda products in New Zealand, acting as an extension of the company’s own sales, technical and operations team in the region. This makes the company well positioned to deliver the joint ContentKeeper-Exinda solution to end users in New Zealand.

ContentKeeper Technologies has chosen Pactec as a distributor due to their extensive product portfolio, which includes solutions in key enterprise network technology areas such as application visibility & acceleration, data centre management, end-point security and device management, WAN optimization and Internet traffic monitoring.

Pactec have had considerable success with Exinda since they began their partnership in 2000, having succeeded in expanding the Exinda market share in New Zealand by as much as 12-13% in the last calendar year, one of the toughest years on record for the technology sector. With such a good presence in the market already, Pactec will enable customers in NZ not only to have greater visibility and control over network traffic, but to reduce non-business related activity, accelerate data and application access for users, and help secure corporate networks and information from Web-based threats.
